National curriculum has provided the guidelines for school
syllabi. Basic feature of balanced syllabus is that it
has resemblance with higher classes for example class
VII & VIII mathematics syllabi should have correlation
with secondary class’s mathematics syllabus outlines
as to establish a strong foundation of subject knowledge
in students at middle standard
Similarly the Gen-Science syllabus of these classes should
have same correlation with Physics, Chemistry and Biology
course out-lines
Selection of books from different publishers and their
comparison with National Curriculum and examination board
syllabi including examination pattern are the core- objectives
